Front of House Manager

Spasso is a Family-owned restaurant of over 15 years and a staple in the community is seeking to add to its management team.

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager, who has at least two consecutive years of Restaurant Management experience. This is a high volume establishment that strives to maintain and improve operational excellence. Candidates must be knowledgeable about wine/proper wine service, as well as cocktail making/service and buying.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer relations-you must be comfortable going table to table talking with guests

Staff development: Assisting other Managers with staff hiring, training, performance management, proper documentation, coaching, and scheduling

Floor supervision

Ensure proper cash handling and financial reconciliation

Keeping labor cost in line with budget

Maintenance of all operational standards

Assisting other Managers and staff as needed with expediting, food running, bussing

Coding Invoices making Quickbooks entries

Purchasing beer, wine, liquor, supplies for the bar

Scheduling

REQUIREMENTS:

2 + consecutive years of Restaurant Management in a high-service level restaurant

Progressive food and fine wine knowledge

cocktail making/serving knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Aloha POS - Hot Schedules

Excellent communication skills: which include oral, written, and active listening

Work a 5-day work week with a varied schedule including nights and weekends

Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

Ability to do social media campaigns on Instagram, Facebook and X
