San Diego Patrol Officer Positions

City Wide Protection Services has immediate openings for full-time open availability Patrol Officers (GRAVE SHIFT) throughout San Diego County. City Wide Protection Services has one of the largest and newest vehicle patrol fleets in San Diego County AND GROWING!

CWPS Patrol officers are responsible to check on our sentry (standing) officers, conduct patrol routes, reports, contacts and at times assist Law Enforcement with different tasks.

A clean driving record is required for insurance purposes. You do not need to be armed at the time of applying however, you must be willing to take a baton, O.C. or Taser course.

Candidates with Law Enforcement/Public Safety aspirations; Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply however, it is not needed.

MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY AS IT REALTES TO THE DAYS OF THE WEEK YOU ARE AVAILABLE> THIS IS A GRAVE SHIFT POSITION.

Pay starts $21hr up to $25hr.

48 hrs PTO

Eligible for use after 90 days worked.

Eligible for enrollment after 30 days worked.

Eligible after 1 year worked, must be over 21 years.

Eligible within 2 weeks of hire.

Eligible at time of hire.

Equipment purchases through payroll deductions

Seasonal, depends on inventory

Patrol Candidate Requirements:

Must have Open, full-time/part-time, and weekend availability.

Must have a valid Guard Card.

Must be willing to earn Taser, baton, and O.C. Spray permits.

Must have a smartphone with internet access.

Must have own vehicle/reliable transportation to get to the main office.

Overnights are a must.

Valid California Driver's License

Valid B.S.I.S Guard Card

Computer literate

Able to meet CWPS insurance requirements (21 years or older)
