Sheet Metal Shop Fabricator (COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION PACKAGE)

Skyline Sheet Metal, Inc. is looking for motivated individuals seeking to begin a career in the sheet metal construction field. Experience is not required. We are seeking individuals for day shift (Monday -Friday- 7:00 am -3:30 PM)

Skyline Sheet Metal, located in Troutdale, Oregon, is offering career opportunities to qualified candidates to fill positions of all levels. Skyline Sheet Metal offers competitive wages and compensation package. Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, production work and steel and aluminum fabrication is helpful; however, experience is not required for entry level positions.

Shop Fabricators must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic. Candidates who are willing to learn and enjoy challenges as well as learning new skills are encouraged to apply. The following are some of the requirements for all shop positions:

· Have reliable transportation

· Be punctual

· Follow direction and work in a team environment

· Read a tape measure

· Problem solve

· Learn how to operate hand tools, power tools and equipment in a safe manner

Some of the daily tasks of a shop fabricator are…

·Operating press break

·Operation of sheet metal shear

·Layout, notching and cutting of sheet metal components

·Forklift driving

·Loading trucks

·Assembly of Sheet Metal/Aluminum components using power tools, hand tools and/or welding

Pay is Depending on Experience (DOE)
