Fabricator / Welder

Job description:

We are looking for a person who has construction experience and can TIG weld. The ideal person will be someone who has worked in the trades and who has experience with a variety of tools and situations. If you don't have years of TIG welding but have done some welding, we can train you if you show aptitude and have other skills or education.

Compensation: variable depending on ability starting pay $27 if you have excellent construction knowledge and lots of TIG welding experience. $22 if you have limited welding experience Pay will go up as you take on responsibility. We give performance bonuses throughout the year in addition to hourly wages. Medical insurance allowance. Paid vacation after one year. Paid sick.

We are looking for someone who can:

Use power tools such as chopsaw's drills and angle grinder safely.

Can use a sanding disc on a grinder to smooth out welds so they are imperceptible.

Can measure, cut and fit two within 1/16 of an inch.

Can demonstrate the ability to add and subtract fractions.

Has an eye for right angles and plumb lines.

Has reliable work habits good manners/social skills and good personal hygiene.

Can drive a truck with a manual transmission and has a valid drivers license and good driving record.
