Maintenance

A Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance tasks on multi-family properties and will be directly reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The objective of the position is to provide a safe, clean and attractive property environment for the residents that will contribute to maintaining our occupancy rate standard!

Our key activities would involve preparation of apartments prior to being rented. Critical responsibilities would involve the use of hand and electric tools and machinery. We require you to have knowledge on how to properly maintain and operate them, as safety is a priority. Completing tasks on time and thoroughly the first time are critical to resident satisfaction as well!

Qualifications:

-Knowledge of basic hand tools, their purpose, and proper usage.

-Basic troubleshooting and repair knowledge of hand tools and equipment

-Basic operational knowledge of maintenance equipment powered by small engines.

-Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.

-Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.

-Ability to lift objects less than 50 lbs. without the assistance of others, tools or devices.

-Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

-Must have a valid and clean driver’s license, your own hand tools, be willing to have background/criminal and drug screening tests and have reliable transportation.
