Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Construction Superintendent working in Remodeling Restaurant for ASAP start in Miami Beach, FL!

PAY: $37-$38 hr depending on experience

HOURS: 40 wk

TIME: 7 am -5 pm

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday

DURATION: 10-12 weeks

START DATE: 02/12/2024

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing restaurant construction projects. Hood experience for restaurant Constuction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing the entire construction process, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. The Commercial Superintendent will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality restaurant remodel projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, communication, and client satisfaction.

Site Supervision:

Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain a smooth workflow.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Has a strong knowledge of trades and codes to ensure the project is on track to meet deadlines.

Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of restaurant construction projects from initiation to completion.

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Monitor project budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure that construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.

Conduct inspections and address any deficiencies promptly to maintain project quality.

Communication:

Foster clear and effective communication among project team members, subcontractors, and clients.

Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Team Leadership:

Supervise on-site personnel, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Problem Solving:

Identify and proactively address challenges and obstacles that may impact project progress.

Implement solutions and adjustments to keep the project on track.

Skills:

Strong communication skills with the project manager team and customers.

Microsoft Office proficient

OSHA certified.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT:

5 years construction in the commercial superintendent field

Proficient with Interior Restaurant Remodeling Construction

Must be proficient with Grill Hood, Blueprint reading and Restaurant Fire Suppression

Must have strong organization skills and Microsoft Office Experience

Must be very flexible with working labor duties to assist as required

Great organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking

Must be safety conscious and be on site- at all times

Must pass a background

Must have a valid DL

Must be authorized to work in the United States

Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred)
