Role Overview
High performing, durable equipment begins with precise engineering, and it all starts with our engineering team. Working closely with customers, our engineers develop advanced products to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry.
We’re looking for an experienced Associate Design Engineer / Mechanical Detailer with Creo expertise to create drawings and prepare layouts of mechanical and structural weldments and assemblies depicting spatial arrangement of parts, components, annotations, and products.
Your input is essential to our process and the impact of your efforts will lead to efficiencies across design, engineering and manufacturing teams. You will interface with these and other teams throughout our organization, partnering closely with Manufacturing Production to maintain seamless process flow of components through production. Project Engineers will rely on you to develop documentation in advance of design reviews and ensure swift delivery of any resulting engineering changes. We will look to you to create and maintain bills of material and ensure the MRP system is organized and up to date. We’re excited to pair this first of its kind hire with an established team of highly experienced, long tenured engineers as we grow and evolve.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2-year technical degree in Mechanical or Drafting Technologies or equivalent apprentice program, Mechanical Design degree preferred.
Mastery of Pro/E / Creo and demonstrated professional experience in design/detail of custom mechanical/structural industrial equipment, including weldments and assemblies.
Understanding of metal fabrication, forming, tolerance, experience in the concrete manufacturing industry is a plus.
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, plan, and organize as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.
