Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Network Administrator in Martinsburg, WV. Candidates must be willing and able to complete a government background check. There are two shifts for this position, 6am to 2:30pm (M-F) OR 1pm to 11:30pm (4 days, will include 1 weekend day). You must be available for one of these shifts for consideration.

ResponsibilitiesThe Network Systems Administrator helps maintain the day-to-day operations of an enterprise-level network. The successful applicant will work with a team of network engineers/administrators, in a 24/7 environment to maintain and analyze large, diversified networks comprised of Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls on MPLS and UVN networks. Daily functions include checking the status of various parts of the network. Group will manage Cisco firewalls, write configurations, implement them, and test. You will monitor networks using tools Solarwinds, NGenius, and NOM. When necessary, we open tickets with telecommunications providers and follow up until the circuit has been restored. Update Documents that support our daily support.
  • Configuring ACLs rules for Palo Alto firewalls (Required)
  • Packet capture and analysis to assist with troubleshooting efforts, through Palo Altos. (Required)
  • Set up Site-to-Site VPNs utilizing Cisco Firewalls and/or Cisco Routers including IPSEC
  • Packet capture and analysis to assist with troubleshooting efforts, through Palo Alto. (Required)
  • Knowledge of multi-area OSPF, BGP, and MPLS environments
  • Experience with network management tools
  • 5+ years' experience as a network engineer/administrator
  • Demonstrated ability to configure a Cisco router/switch/firewall via command-line interface

Qualifications

Education / Experience:Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. 5 years of relevant experience is required. 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education on a case-by-case basis.

PWS Specified Certifications:This position requires privileged system access. The applicant shall have six months to obtain an industry-standard certification. Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE). Gi4 reimburses successful test costs.

Miscellaneous:Duties may require traveling, being on call periodically, and occasionally working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)

Security Clearance:Requires a VA Tier 4 High Background Investigation.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Competency: Basic concept of setting up Site-to-Site VPNs utilizing Cisco Firewalls and/or Cisco Routers.
  • Experience with Citrix Access Gateway (ISE) and NetScaler's (Desired) Experience with Cisco Any Connect VPN (Desired)
  • Experience with Remote Access Solutions (Desired)
  • Solarwinds (Desired)
  • NGenius (Desired)
  • Cisco ASDM (Desired)
