Formula Corp, a private label personal care manufacturer located in Auburn, WA is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. The QA Manager manages the QA laboratory and maintains the quality of production through documentation review and updates, monitoring of internal quality programs, and addressing quality issues in production.

Job responsibilities include:

Manage a small team of dedicated quality assurance technicians.

Accurately and consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Inspection Procedures, Test Methods, and verbal instructions.

Assist management during quality and government agency audits.

Assist safety committee by providing resources necessary to implement safety improvements.

Coordinate/perform internal inspections and communicate any non-conformances to management.

Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement to improve quality and efficiency.

Review production batch records for compliance and completion prior to product release.

Enter testing data and release product in ERP system.

Assist with customer complaint investigation, response, and tracking.

Perform Non-conforming material investigations as needed.

Review SOP’s and update as necessary to reflect current production practices.

Assist in creating and implementing forms and processes to improve quality throughout manufacturing.

Ensure calibrations for testing equipment is current and coordinate calibrations and/or repairs.

Maintain laboratory cleanliness and supply inventory.

Skills / Qualifications:

Experience working in a GMP environment and familiarity with GMP requirements.

Previous management experience is a plus.

Ability to communicate well with upper-level management to determine compliance actions

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-importance projects simultaneously.

Excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency with computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint.

Position:

Full-time position

28 - 32 /per hour DOE

Day shift, Monday - Thursday, 7am – 4:30pm, Fridays 7am - 11am

Some overtime may be available

Holidays, Sick Leave, Medical available and Matching 401(k)
