RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA looking for a Game Producer to join the team. This role is mostly work from home but they could be needed onsite periodically so they will need to sit and be able to commute into Redmond.Summary:The Game Producer will support all aspects of production, including internal content production, art outsourcing, and delivery to the game teams. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for game development and feel comfortable navigating ambiguity. The Game Producer will need to have the ability to run effective meetings, get notes out on time, get key takeaways from notes and drive completion, deliver work on time, and ask questions when there is a lack of understanding in tasks. Willingness to take criticism and make productive improvements from that feedback is critical.Duties Include: Game Producer will work with teams leads through all stages of development to ensure milestones are delivered on time and to the highest possible quality Run effective meetings, noting action items and pursuing follow through to the desired level of completion Work closely with artists and our test team to manage day-to-day tasking, including prioritization and dependency management As a Game Producer, you will conduct regular team rituals, including planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, and bug triage Facilitate collaborative and effective communication between team members, while keeping the team aware of milestones deliverables and goals through all phases of developmentREQUIREMENTS: Prefer to see a Bachelor's degree or an Agile certification 2-3 years of experience in a game console or PC production role MSFT suite (Excel, Word, etc.) (2-3 years) Knowledge and experience navigating and triaging a bug data base (2-3 years) Ability to estimate plan and execute schedules (2-3 years) 1 shipped title on a major platform Previous experience utilizing a suite of project management tools to successfully schedule and track work Working knowledge of art production and art outsourcing pipelines Highly effective communication skills (written and verbal) and proven ability to work across multiple disciplines and teams to achieve great results Desire to innovate, grow, and learn new tools, production methodologies, or trends in game production Ability to run effective meetings, create action items and follow throughKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
