6th Ave Midas Auto Service & Tires in Tacoma needs an Automotive Technician that's able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of Inspection, Repairs & Diagnostic utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience. We have a full-service facility that's well equipped with state of the art equipment.

Responsibilities:

As a B Level Automotive Technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range repairs, maintenance, diagnostics & troubleshooting.

Alignments

Suspension & steering

Brake service

Engine repairs

Diagnostic & problem solving

Exhaust, (welding not required)

HVAC service & repairs

Bearings & Axle

Tune Ups

Qualifications:

Level B Tech with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in a retail shop environment

Knowledge in automotive brakes, suspension, steering components, alignments & engine repairs

Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities

Valid driver’s license Required

Own tools

Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
