Assistant Manager for Violin Shop

Violin Shop opening for the right Assistant Manager for the front counter.

- 18+ with reliable transportation

- Excellent communication and customer skills

- Accurate math and spelling and good attention to detail

- Experience with POS, phone, database and inventory maintenance

- Hands-on expertise with violin family instruments

- Part/full time available, the ability to work occasional Saturdays is a plus

- Low intensity work environment

- Owners service dogs are on premises with him most days

Just so we're on the same page:

- This is NOT a seasonal position.

- Both customer service and the trust of our customers are extremely important to us.

- Assistant Managerial work is generally not suited for those with little or no formal work experience.

- You MUST have actual experience with bowed string instruments which all considered applicants will be asked to demonstrate. Piano, voice, drums, electric or acoustic guitar, brass or woodwind, while all admirable and skilled musical pursuits, aren't skills which are transferable to this position.
