Office Administration/Bookkeeper needed ASAP for towing and wrecking yard.
Responsibilities/duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering and dispatching requests for towing services.
- Accurately recording and maintaining information such as name, address, tow type or service to be completed.
- Processing paperwork and following correct correspondence protocol for impounded vehicles, according to WA State regulations.
- Fielding customer inquires (in person, over the phone, via email) for the wrecking yard and auto parts - searching the
parts database and communicating with yard dismantlers to locate inventory.
- General customer service - creating invoices and processing payments for auto parts and towing charges, some shipping/mailing.
- Accounting/Billing - sending customer statements and following up on unpaid invoices.
- Business bookkeeping, renewing licenses and permits, paying bills.
- Processing weekly payroll and payroll reports.
- Reporting monthly sales tax.
- Maintaining office supply inventory.
Qualifications:
- 1 year minimum administrative experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and familiar with Excel, Word, PDF, Gmail, basic PC functions and typing, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively and remain composed under pressure or in stressful situations.
- Ability to pick up quickly on learning new systems and skills.
- Ability to multi-task, change focus as needed, and work through regular interruption.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00-5:00.
- Must be able to pass a WSP background check.
The most ideal candidate will have experience in towing and impound procedures, as well as have general knowledge of cars/auto parts.
