A bit about us:We are a family-owned General Contractor specializing in civil, sitework, concrete construction, paving, railroad construction, and directional drilling.There is an opening at Engineers Construction, Inc. located in Williston, VT for a Civil Project Engineer with a specialization in civil/site construction. We are seeking applicants at all levels of experience, including entry level, mid level, and experienced project engineers.The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in managing projects that involve earthwork, utilities, road construction, and concrete. Additional experience in heavy-civil and specialty markets would be considered a plus. Educational qualifications should include a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Responsibilities for this role will include estimating, planning, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, crew coordination, overseeing project execution, assisting in construction, and client interfacing.The successful applicant should be able to work effectively in both an office and field setting. As ECI self-performs most of our contracts, field experience is essential. Proficiency in all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required, and experience with AutoCAD drafting and Bluebeam would be beneficial. The applicant must possess strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a relentless problem-solving attitude. The applicant should also be organized, neat, and professional, possess a valid driver's license, and have a good driving record.

Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience and possess a strong understanding of the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil engineering projects, from start to finish. This is a full-time permanent position that offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities.Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, and construction.
• Prepare and submit submittals to clients and regulatory agencies.
• Work with vendors to order materials and equipment necessary for construction projects.
• Support subcontractors in the field to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) from clients and subcontractors.
• Process change orders and ensure that all changes are documented and communicated to all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and other project-related information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
