RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Sr. Mechanical Engineer-Design & Analysis in Orem, Utah (UT).Summary:The client is a growing engineering technology company that is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design and Analysis Engineer (Stress/Thermal Analysis & Design). We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and Stock/RSU's. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus in Mechanical Systems analysis and design for RF and/or Radar equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about innovation and creating cutting-edge technologies; This position is partial remote.Responsibilities include: Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems for Radar and/or RF products Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure the seamless deployment and integration of all systems Perform detailed design and stress analysis to validate design concepts Conduct airflow and heat transfer CFD analysis Develop and execute test plans to validate performance and reliability of mechanical systems Support the manufacturing team in the design and fabrication of prototypes and production components Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations, and provide technical guidance to the team as neededREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred 6-8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on aerospace systems, consumer electronics or other highly regulated industry Expertise with CAD software, such as SolidWorks Experience with CFD and/or FEA software Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including stress and thermal analysis Experience with prototyping and testing mechanical systems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
