Senior Engineering Product Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Engineering Product Manager in Orem, Utah (UT).Summary:The client is a growing engineering technology company who is seeking a Senior Engineering Product Manager for software and/or hardware products (Electro-Mechanical). The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and stock/RSU's. As a Product Manager you will work as part of a dynamic product team responsible for product planning, roadmap development, leadership, and documentation across our integrated suite of products. This is an exciting and demanding role requiring vision, creativity, and passion. This position is partial remote.Responsibilities include: Be involved with integrating product roadmaps including development of robust feature sets for the company's electro-mechanical embedded wireless systems Drive innovation to solve unique problems and identify new market applications Senior Engineering Product Manager will work in close collaboration with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product marketing, lead generation, sales, and support strategies Work closely with sales teams to provide guidance and insight into product proposals to win new business and deliver on committed projects Develop robust product requirements and requirements documents (PRDs) that meet current and future customer needs Establish and maintain effective product development processes and documentation Senior Engineering Product Manager will oversee the handoff process of new products and software releases from engineering to operational teams Mentor less experienced product managers and/or project managersREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Avionics, Computer Science, or similar technical degree; Master's degree is a plus 5-7+ years of demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary product management, project management, or systems engineering Experience developing product road maps and product definition for Engineering Products Experience working in an agile environment and being part of a highly integrated team collaborating with engineering, marketing, and sales teams Quick learner, problem-solver Ability to understand big picture stuff Working within/supporting a budget for projects Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong ability to communicate complex subjects effectively Demonstrated experience working with customers Experience working with electro-mechanical systems Familiarity with C/C, Assembly, Linux, MATLAB, Python, or other programming or scripting languages is a plus but not required Familiarity with reading schematic is a plus but not required Experienced/knowledge of software development lifecycle preferably at the embedded and/or application level is a plus Experience or familiarity with Radar, RF or Wireless embedded systems or platforms is a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
