$8/hr: Craft products with your hands DIY helper needed

Our 4-person office needs a part-time helper to build/craft small kitchen and pet products from our location in South Salt Lake on State Street. We make and sell an eco friendly ocean-like product to grow food and also take care of fish, and sell it to customers around the country, so this is a great chance to see how your crafting skills can help with actual business. Cutting, sizing, drilling, painting, sanding, gluing or casting with epoxy, silicone and urethane, and maybe even electrical soldering. Also learn how to do final assembly, boxing, and quality checks of other people's work.

If you like DIY crafting, sculpting, knitting, sewing, artsy things, or you helped your parents repair things around the house, then you'll like doing these things too. We have several patents and trademarks, and are well known in our line of products, so you'll be handling real world situations.

If you happen to read a little bit of Dutch, Swedish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Farsi, Chinese or Japanese then you could help us with translations or marketing too.

We need at least 10 hours a week, up to 20 hours a week. This can be a few hours each day, or a few long days, however fits your schedule the best. Hours are flexible between 10am to 6pm Monday-Saturday. This is a great opportunity for homemakers who want to do hands-on things outside the house, or for retired folks who want to keep busy but don't want any more career obligations.

We are a block south of 3300, walking distance from many restaurants and shops nearby, and the bus stops directly in front of our office. If you drive, our parking lot always has empty spaces.

Pay is $8/hr and can be intern or employee. Full training is provided. Resume' credit given too if needed. Overall you will learn a lot and have a good local reference for job searching later if you need it.
