Job DetailsThe Senior Engineer - CAE Analysis at our client will play a crucial role in the design and development of the company's powertrain systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finite element analysis and experience in the design and simulation of various powertrain components. They should be able to perform a variety of structural analyses, including modal, random vibration, harmonic, and non-linear shock FEA, as well as impact and crash analyses.In addition, the candidate should have a good understanding of both conventional and hybrid powertrain systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. They should also have experience managing outsourced CAE activities and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.A Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field is required for this position, with a Master's degree being highly preferred. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in structural analysis using finite element software and extensive experience with linear and non-linear structural analysis, bolted joint analysis, thermal analysis, dynamic response analysis, impact/crash analysis, and structural optimization.Overall, our client is looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is passionate about revolutionizing the trucking industry and reducing fuel consumption.
