Job DetailsThe role:This is a developer role. You're an expert with Elasticsearch (or similar, Solr, OpenSearch, etc) and you have a lot of hands-on experience. You have experience writing code to work with indexing documents into Elasticsearch and you've written code and search templates to retrieve documents out of Elasticsearch. We don't want someone that is too much on the DevOps side because we want to make sure you can put stuff into Elasticsearch and get stuff out of it rather than just sort, deploy, and maintain.Must Haves:

• At minimum 2+ years of hands on/proven production experience with ElasticSearch (experience with Solr can work too)
• We want to see you've had experience working with some considerably sized clusters and index sizes.
• You'll have good experience with search ranking tasks (relevance, freshness, etc)
• Strong experience with custom search query templating as well as index schema design.

Pluses (not required):

• Experience and comfortability developing in Docker/Kubernetes
• Some experience with vector search would be nice
• The ability to understand and/or experience working with Machine Learning teams
• Continuous Integration and Deployment
• Some experience with crawlers/spiders & message driven indexing, especially Kafka, would be great
