Operations Team Lead

Responsibilities:

● Lead by example through your own direct efforts.

● Successfully delegate and supervise team duties.

● Represent the business and its owners well.

● Foster strong relationships with regular customers.

● Maintain strong, professional communication.

● Conduct and manage day-to-day operational duties such as:

○ Front-line sales and service

○ Inventory reconciliation

○ Basic shipment receipt(we have full time support in place to manage other, larger vendors)

○ Maintaining clean, well-organized retail environment

○ Anticipating and addressing business challenges before they become critical issues

○ Keep the shelves stocked and straightened, and all vendor orders put away.

○ Be comfortable working solo (although not all shifts are solo).

○ Comfortable taking charge if someone is disrespecting you or others.

○ Must be able to properly balance a cash drawer and operate a basic point of sale system (we'll show you how!)

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

● Proven track record of leading and managing people within a business - ideally within hospitality or retail, but any proven business operations management experience will qualify.

● An affinity for customer service. You should enjoy interacting with people.

● Interest in beer, wine and spirits.

● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Charisma is appreciated.

● Be comfortable with numbers.

● High ethics and integrity - you can do the right thing even when no one is watching.

● References required.

● Background check required.

● Must be able to lift and carry 30+ pounds.

● Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation:

$16/hr

OT @ 1.5x base hourly pay optional but not required
