Network Engineer

job summary:Works directly with Senior Engineer to plan, document and implement network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed documentation for the network architecture. Conducts coordinated testing of network design. Assists with responses to security incidents to prevent additional loss and obtains and preserves forensic evidence. Able to work independently for major network upgrade initiative, able to evaluate and assess new technologies and network components. Performs wired and wireless network installations, management, and monitoring as necessary. Plans and maintains WAN connected clinics and sites. Troubleshoots network components and recommends improvements. Provides documentation, project tracking, and management reporting for new projects. Remains knowledgeable of changes in technology, industry practices, and state and federal regulatory requirements by attending training, trade shows, and related venues. Serves as escalation support to Network Engineer I for Call Center problems (Service-Now) assignments.
