Lube Technician (Mechanic Shop)

Pan American Auto LLC is currently searching for a lube technician for our everyday operations at our shop located in North Pharr. The applying candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

1. Draining the oil from a vehicle and replacing it to manufacturer specifications.

2. Topping off other fluids, including brake, power steering and windshield wiper fluid

3. Inspecting the engine block and underbody for leaks and potential issues

4. Checking tire pressure and filling tires with air as needed to manufacturer specifications.

5. Installing new car parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers and batteries

6. Lubricating moving parts as necessary, including those in the engine and wheel bearings and ensuring the engine is kept clean throughout servicing.

7. Diagnosing existing visual issues and consulting with lead mechanics and company management on the team to address the vehicles’ issues.

8. Creating detailed service reports/notes for our office staff

9. Conduct visual inspections on vehicles.

10. Help lead mechanics in everyday operations when needed.

11. Candidate will conduct all the above services on diesel and gas vehicles.

12. Must have his own tools.
