Experienced Collections Specialist

Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Collections Specialist in Houston, TX 77098.

Essential Duties:

Contact all assigned customers to collect past-due invoices and accelerate cash flow.

Build and maintaining client relationships via customer-service-oriented communication.

Promptly respond to customer and sales team requests for waivers, statements, invoices, credits, refunds, etc.

Quickly address billing disputes or problems that create payment delays, and work with customers to find solutions.

Maintain accurate customer notes pertaining to collection activity, contact information, reports, invoices, etc.

Process credit card payments for clients and maintain accurate and secure records for audit purposes.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2 years minimum of collections experience.

Must pass a background check and drug test.

Must have a clear driving record.

Must be comfortable preparing legal documents such as lien waivers and sworn statements. Previous experience is not required as we will train.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment using multiple computer programs.

Has a high attention to detail and high level of accuracy when following instructions.

Punctual, consistent, reliable, and trustworthy.

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 depending on experience.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-4:30AM.
