Position – Executive Director of Information SecurityLocation – Richardson, TXDuration – Fulltime
Job Description: Qualifications:Education/Certification:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in ComputerScience or Information technology systems security or related field.Information Security related Certifications - Certified Information Systems SecurityProfessional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or related.Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Plus. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT security management at a senior levelExperience leading large transformational initiatives and major IT Security projects.Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with experience leading teams.Ability to establish and build an information technology security practice from the ground up.Knowledge of Information technology infrastructure with respect to security administration and information technology governance in a multiplatform environment.Experience in establishing cybersecurity and risk metrics for reporting.Demonstrated management skills, policydevelopment and implementation, personnel administration, staff training anddevelopment.Ability to develop strategic initiatives and oversee the development of long-term plans and proposals to support business objectives. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and assignments.effective oral and writtencommunication skills
