Enterprise Solution Architect

Summary: SourceFuse is looking for an experienced Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our growing team that is focused on cloud migration and modernization for our customers. The Enterprise Solutions Architect will be responsible for the development of platform & application of a modern serverless and IoT platform built in AWS.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation for technology and data solutions based on business needs; oversee architectural aspects of business solution development/deployment.
• Able to evaluate/analyze business needs and current technical assets/data to develop and implement solutions and strategy
• Perform platform planning and drive technical roadmap with stakeholders and vendors and suggest improvements to increase efficiencies and maximize product values
• Interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders, end users, and business subject matter experts
  • Create, maintain, and govern technical architecture depicting the Business and IT landscape in its current, transitional, and future state.
  • Ensure best coding practices are followed in the code.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in coding processes
  • Work with external vendors, consulting partners, etc. to research emerging technologies and industry trends to define strategy for their applicability in alignment with strategic business direction.

• Proficient in TypeScript and Nodejs, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Experience with React and React Native projects
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Experience with serverless and microservice implementations
• Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts
• Experience with embedded databases
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable cloud native and cloud first applications

Education & Experience:

• Experience with AWS IoT and AWS serverless technologies is required
• Experience with the IoT ecosystem and associated protocols such as MQTT
• 7+ yrs of systems development experience in statically typed languages such as TypeScript, C#, and Java.
• 3+ yrs of development team lead experience
• Experience with React or React Native - hands on experience preferred but successful delivery of projects as an architect is sufficient.
