This role will ideally be based in Austin, TX but is flexible for the right person.Our client provides SaaS tools and digital transformation solutions to local governments (city/state / local) across the country to improve the lives of the citizens they serve. They are a fast-growing software company (0-38MM ARR in 1.5 years) that is moving quickly to facilitate a market experiencing explosive transformation in response to unprecedented times. In many ways, they act like a startup with enterprise-level resources at their back. Work in a cloud operations department that practices a DevOps philosophy. Code isn't thrown over a wall from Development to Operations. Instead, Ops works closely with Dev from before development begins to create efficient, reliable, and cost-effective software. Responsibilities- Create productive developer workflows (especially using automation)
- Design and maintain shared production, development and testing environments
- Build and maintain code deployment systems
- Respond to on-call emergency response.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE
- Administering at least one of Linux, Unix, Windows
- Writing with any scripting language (especially Python, shell)
- Managing cloud resources (especially AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Configuration management tools (especially Ansible)
- Continuous Integration tools (especially Jenkins)
- Metrics tools (especially Prometheus)
- Graphing tools (especially Grafana)
- Administering at least one of Linux, Unix, Windows
- Programming using any programming language
- Plus: Administering and tuning databases (especially PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
