You will be providing impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. Responsibilities

Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes in the San Antonio, TX area. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with activities of daily living, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Personal Care Assistance: Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal hygiene tasks according to each client's individual needs.

Medication Reminders: Assist clients in taking their prescribed medications as directed by healthcare professionals.

Mobility Support: Help clients with mobility issues by providing transfers, ambulation assistance, and using mobility aids as needed.

Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and ensure clients' dietary preferences and restrictions are followed.

Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and social interaction to promote emotional well-being.

Light Housekeeping: Perform light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client care activities and report any changes in health status to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.

Transportation: Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential outings.

Respectful Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals, while respecting confidentiality and privacy.

Safety Awareness: Ensure a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards and following established safety protocols.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not mandatory.

Previous experience in caregiving or related roles is a plus.
