Job DetailsThe Cloud Engineer position is responsible for design, installation, configuration, operation, and administration of a highly available hybrid cloud environment. Working within an agile shared services team, the position enables stable infrastructure for applications and participates in maintaining repeatable processes through automation of build, deployment, and proactive monitoring activities. The candidate must be able to understand developing trends in hybrid cloud technologies and practically apply solutions to meet stated business needs. The position drives cloud technology, operations but also requires knowledge of on-premise datacenter resources. The position requires ability to make recommendations based on solid technical acumen, assist project teams as required, and provide third-tier support for issue resolution.The Cloud Engineer has subject matter experience in two or more of the following areas: Cloud Computing, Cloud Storage, Virtual Networks, Automation/Infrastructure as Code, Secure Networking, and DevSecOps. in an Azure or AWS cloud environment5+ years progressive working in computing or network infrastructure1-2+ years' experience in a cloud environment, preferably Azure as a cloud network engineer, administrator, and/or DevOps roleDemonstrated experience building and operating cloud infrastructureExperience in automation (Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration-as-Code) and management of both on-premises infrastructure and applications, cloud hosted Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service capabilities (Azure) including virtual machines, virtual networks, and automation toolsExperience with CI/CD platforms and tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Azure Dev Ops or similarBe able to deploy through automation and translate from and/or contribute to application design architectures for AzureExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools and DevOps processesExperience with load balancing platformsInterested in hearing more?
