Automotive Painter

Our growing company is seeking to hire a Painter to join our team. The painter is responsible for painting automotive parts to exact color indicated on work order with the highest quality standard Revemoto adheres to.

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, able to learn quickly and have great communication skills. You will have at least 1-year experience in painting automotive parts or equivalent. Positive goal driven attitude and able to work in a team environment.

Painter Responsibilities:

Work efficiently in a fast pace environment

Know the different types of automotive parts

Store and organize painted automotive parts

Locate and situate parts in paint booth for paint

Input paint codes in paint system

Accurately mix paint

Able to utilize painting technique to lay primer, sealer, basecoat, and clearcoat

Identify debris or imperfection on parts prior to paint

Prep parts prior to paint specified by ReveMoto TDS

Utilize cleaning techniques per different automotive parts for paint process

Always use of safety gear in paint area

Breakdown and assemble HVLP guns for thorough cleaning weekly or as necessary

Accountable to upkeep all equipment assigned (HVLP, Fresh Air Unit, etc.…)

Dial HVLP gun to correct PSI level to produce even spray pattern

Communicate with different departments to resolve or identify issues

Capable of repairing imperfections before or after paint

Comprehend different functions of the paint booth (Pressure, Heater, and Fan Modes)

Order materials that is needed

Keep a clean and organized workstation

Record and note issues daily on parts worked on

Troubleshoot issues that arises

Paint a minimum of 48 Parts per week

Able to Quality Control Parts

Painter Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills (Word, Email, Google docs, etc)

Physically able to stand and bend hours at a time

Lift up to 60 pounds

Communicates well with others

High attention to detail

Follow Process to the T

Positive and eager to learn attitude
