Primary Responsibilities:

Work involves preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of financial analysis tenant ledgers and reports;

Establishing, maintaining, and/or overseeing accounting systems, procedures, and controls; Ensures that

funds are properly reported and expended; Uses the program Grant Allocation Methodology; Ensures that

the expenditure of funds is in compliance with applicable ,

city, state, and federal guidelines; Ensures accuracy and timeliness in classifying and recording of financial

and business transaction data; Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of

initiative and independent judgment.

Tasks Performed

Ensures the timely preparation and submission of grant financial reporting to various funding agencies,

including general ledger reconciliation, and preparation of necessary periodic reports; Provides technical

assistance to program management and properly distributes and classifies all planned expenditures

consistent with applicable federal and state rules, and assists the Budget Officer in developing a cost

allocation plan for all agency shared costs; Assists with the program Grant Allocation Methodology System

(GAMS); Reviews expenditures to ensure that budget limits are not exceeded; Oversees the detailed

reporting of expenditures and encumbrance made by the various operating units and directly responsible

for financial reporting and variance analysis of the grant operating budgets; Reviews and approves payment

documentation submitted by subcontractors, and vendors ensuring the accuracy of costs charged to each

project, and ensures that payments are made within a timely manner of receipt of funds.
