Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the preparation, coordination, development, and execution of work in Andersen AFB, Guam.

This is a full-time position that will require you to be on-site in Guam with an incentive of funded R&R trip at least every six months.

Our salary range for this position, based on the market data, is $120k to $140k per annum (range varies depending on experience and qualifications).

Key responsibilities:

Manage operational and strategic support services/programs consisting of multiple and diverse activities.

Coordinate organization-wide strategic planning and policy/procedure development.

Represent the senior executive officer of Planate as required.

Attend and participate in the kickoff and weekly meetings, and evaluate contract execution.

Facilitate needed process or communication improvements.

Formulate client strategies and implement approaches that will successfully execute projects.

Serve as the client’s main point of contact for contract & program management and as needed, issues with Contractor personnel.

Manage the project team in higher-level discussions on technical management, transaction execution process, project flow, etc.

Delivering complex, divergent engineering solutions in conflict locations around the world.

Provide status updates in strategic/tactical planning meetings with clients, local, state, and federal agency partners.

Provide project draft responses to stakeholder inquiries on recurring project status updates.

Provide quality and safety oversight of transaction support.

Perform other duties tasked to ensure successful execution of transaction packages.

Perform overall leadership and initial condition scene settings while being initially available to be on client site until relieved by the firm.

Qualifications to be successful in the role: 

Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering from an accredited institution in the United States

Must possess an active Secret clearance issued by the U.S. government.

Prior experience working on DoD projects is essential.

Ready to travel to Guam.

Requires strong leadership and people management skills.

Ready to work with international and multi-culture discipline.

Team-player and highly organized.

Must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits)
