Accountant

The Accountant works to complete the month end financial close, balance sheet account reconciliations, bank account reconciliations, tracking and resolving facility cash deposit discrepancies, and corresponding with various key functions. Participates in other projects as assigned.

Collaborate with all teams within our Accounting Department including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Freight Release to investigate and report general expenses to senior leadership and overseas offices.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel;

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, and Word.

Proficient in Quickbooks or Sage

Clear and effective communication skills.

Previous experience in freight forwarding is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Perform accounting and clerical functions.

Coordinate general expense processing with leadership and relevant teams.

Compile and sort invoices.

Generate expense reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule.

Track and monitor company expenses.

Collaborate with our overseas offices on accounting transactions.
