Service/Installation Technician - Willing to train the right person!

Job Description: Next Day Access is seeking a Service Technician. This is an entry level position, and we offer training. We are in the Accessibility and Mobility industry. We install and service Modular Aluminum Handicap Ramps, Porch Lifts, Stair Lifts, Grab Bars, Vehicle Lifts and other accessibility and mobility equipment.

This position requires an independent minded professional; Employee will perform evaluations and installations of company products to customer’s homes and businesses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic mechanical and technical knowledge and power tools.

Ability to use technology; tablet, smart phone, GPS, internet, etc.

The ability to learn troubleshooting installation and service problems.

Physical strength, stamina, and dexterity to lift and move up to 100 lbs. and stoop, bend, and stand throughout the course of a workday in varying weather conditions at various construction sites with varying terrain.

Ability to pass drug screening, background check and have an acceptable motor vehicle report.

Employment Type: Full-Time with possible overtime

Compensation: Dependent upon experience. We are willing to train the right person

Education: Minimum High School or equivalent required

Experience: No experience needed. We will train.

Additional; ADA knowledge a plus but not necessary

Overnight Travel: Very rare

Schedule: Monday - Friday; Some weekend work may be required dependent upon customer’s schedule
