Plano, TX/hybrid remote (onsite 2 days per week)

6 months contract for hire Senior DBA will work within a collaborative Agile environmentAnalyze requirements and create performant, scalable database structures, objects and stored proceduresAnalyze, create and tune complex T-SQL code to ensure optimal performance and data integrity across very large data setsCreate, modify and deploy SQL Server Integration Services packages to extract, transform and load large sets of dataTroubleshoot database performance issues in an MS SQL environmentReview and tune code to ensure best practices, quality standards and data integrityConfigure database parameters and define data repository requirements, data dictionaries, and warehousingDesign and implement approaches to improve database performance, capacity, and scalabilityConfer with appropriate managers and peer team members regarding problems with and capabilities of databasesExperience with Oracle database, Elasticsearch, GitLab, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka a plus e/o/e
