Counter Sales Representative

William M Bird and Company (East Bay Supply) is searching for a Counter Sales Representative. Position is responsible for providing product information to customers, promoting, and recommending products that match customer needs, informing customers on pricing, or status on pending orders. Includes generating leads, conducting sales activities, building relationships with customers, keeping shelves stocked and correctly displayed. This includes performing order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues. The ideal candidate will have prior retail and customer service experience. Must have average computer skills or prior experience with data entry.
