Cabinet Finisher

Only candidates with hands-on sanding, staining, and finishing experience will be considered.

We are a Chattanooga-based commercial and residential architectural millwork & cabinetry company with jobs ranging from $10K to $2M. Our ideal candidate will work closely with our Shop Foreman on new and existing projects. The pay range for the role depends on experience. We currently offer 8 paid holidays to new employees, and vacation pay for those who have been with us for at least a year. Duties/Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of spray equipment (air-assisted airless) and application

Maintain equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently.

Minimize waste of raw materials as well as work in a clean and tidy manner.

Must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and steady hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and must be willing to comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.

Keeping finishing room clean and organized.

Knowledge and maintenance of all finishing equipment.

Review upcoming projects and ordering materials as needed.

Creating and managing approved finish samples.

Performing job punch outs and touching up onsite when required.

This job will include some woodworking (we build really cool stuff) and a good bit of sanding/scuffing.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent attendance is required.

Attention to detail and quality of work produced.

Ability to spray to a color/quality standard.

Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and in the necessary time frame.

Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.

Working transportation and drivers license.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday
