Construction Carpenter Laborer

Carpenter is responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different materials, including wood, plastic, metal, and other materials.

-Able to physically lift heavy materials (up to 75 pounds) frequently throughout the work shift

-Minimum of four years of carpentry experience preferred

-Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and random employee pool drug/alcohol testing

-Must qualify for a DBIDS card to access Ellsworth AFB.

-Must have personal transportation to and from job site - Currently on Elsworth AFB.

-Must arrive on time to job site fit for duty for required shift

-Wear and maintain PPE as directed by supervisor and safety team, including but not limited to hard hats, safety glasses, and high visibility vests

-Willingness to learn and master new tasks, duties, and responsibilities

-Pay attention to job details to provide an acceptable uniform product

-Identify and communicate any job site hazards

-Safely and correctly operate all equipment and manual/power tools. Do not operate any equipment or tools that you have not been trained to use properly.

-Keep all tools in good, clean, and operating order

-Demonstrate and promote safety and proper housekeeping on all job sites

-Display a positive attitude towards the company, fellow employees, and customers

-Must complete a 90-day trial period.
