Thanks for your interest! We work specifically with Seniors over 65. This job requires a big heart, a strong back, and patience.

This job meets at 400 Orchard Drive, West Columbia, 29170 at 8 a.m. on days we have work. We will sometimes meet on location depending on type of job.

Work days can end anywhere from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. depending on the size of the job. Rarely later than 8. Usually between 4 and 6. Rare overnight travel required depending on location of job. Travel time is paid as regular time. Hotel and meals/snacks paid for. Hours range from 30 to 50 per week. Sometimes 60 depending on size of job.

Minimum of 25 Hours per week guaranteed. This is a W-2 position. No 1099 or cash only applicants.

Responsibilities include:

Lifting a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day

Alot of walking

wrapping and packing items into boxes

moving boxes, furniture, and other items out of houses and into box trucks

Unloading truck and moving items into a new location, usually senior communities

Unpacking and setting up belongings in new location to client satisfaction

Hanging pictures

Mounting tv's

Cleaning out properties

We also offer top down cleaning services to prepare home for resale.

Must be polite and patient with clients.

Must have own transportation with a valid drivers license.

Positive interaction with clients

Ability to finalize invoices

Ability to train and interact positively with subordinates

Ability to direct and delegate job tasks to maintain positive work flow

Ability to drive from 15' to 26' box truck

This position has plenty of room for growth for the right individual.

Experience a plus but not required. Will train. We operate differently from other moving companies. You will be trained in the way we do things.

Must have valid drivers license.

Pay starts at $17/hour for first 90 days. Performance review will determine raise. Salaried position when all markers are met successfully. This ain't rocket surgery, but there is a process.
