Overview GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a

Systems Administrator. This role can be fully remote in the continental US. The company's base location is in Central PA.

Position Overview Immediate opening for an intelligent and driven IT Professional looking for a position to utilize their skills and advanced knowledge. The Systems Administrator position is not your run of the mill position; our systems team has their hands in all areas of the IT infrastructure, giving them a chance to grow their skills by working on a variety of tasks and taking on complex projects and additional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and maintenance
• Working with Windows and Linux Servers
• Perform general and routine requests such as backup, restores, permissions changes, patch application, and testing
• Work within Virtual VMware Infrastructure
• Anti-virus / Malware protection
• Responsible for network storage
• Working with Office365 and Azure
• Project planning on larger projects and higher tier support
• Design and analysis
• Provide high-level IT support, assistance and troubleshooting
• Mentoring others
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience with one or more of the following:
• Virtualized infrastructure preferably VMware
• Windows and Linux Server and infrastructure
• SAN Storage, preferably with NetApp and EqualLogic
• Backup software, preferably with Veeam
• Configuring Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and Exchange
• PowerShell and Bash scripting
• ISP's, network monitoring tools and TCP/IP protocols
• Experience handling licensing for products such as Azure and O365. Working with features and creating agendas for project meetings, etc.

Preferred Experience

• Basic programming and SQL knowledge preferred
