Diesel/Trailer Mechanics Needed!

We are a local trucking company based out of York PA looking to hire diesel mechanics. We have a fully equipped shop/service trucks. Our fleet is made up primarily of Kenworth and Mack trucks with all dry van trailers. NO REFRIGERATED TRAILERS TO WORK ON. We are a family owned business since 1994 and we do not micro manage. We try to do everything in house as much as possible and rely on the opinions of our mechanics. We use Full Bay software and provide a company phone if you want one.

Must be willing to work inside and outside and must be willing to work on the road.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics and diagnostic equipment.

- Inspect, test, and maintain diesel engines to ensure optimal performance.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.

- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
