Data Analyst

Job Description: Responsible for providing analysis support and compiles key data for analysis for strategic long-range planning and placement for all Xfinity stores. Proactively manages data utilizing Comcast specific database in Smartsheet and mapping and modeling tools. Maintains and gathers information for portfolio data management, and contract administration. Prepares materials for and participates in Division and Region planning and update meetings. Core Responsibilities: • Utilizes Mastercard Predictive Modeling tool to run a model to accurately predict store performance • Works with RES (Esri based) to model and map the proper placement for stores based on homes passed, actives, drive times and demographics • Partners with Finance to provide information to request an ROI for all new stores • Compiles data from the P&L utilizing VLOOKUP and pivot table functions in Excel to create reports used in Real Estate Long Range Planning • Assist with ad hoc initiatives related to store planning, distribution and optimization • Create monthly and quarterly Division and Region views of store metrics and profitability • Conducts research on micro and macro factors impacting the retail real estate industry • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned associated with the Retail strategy and portfolio optimization. Job Skills: • Strong skills in Retail specific data, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft excel • Strong skills in Smartsheet • Experience conducting retail store analytics and strategy for optimal distribution of stores • Retail real estate background • Strong strategic thinking capabilities • Understands both internal and external customer needs and identifies solutions • Manages own time to meet objectives • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
