Job DetailsWe are Seeking a Sr Civil Transportation Engineer to Join our Team in Portland OR location. We are an award winning multi-disciplinary Engineering Firm specializing in Civil/Structural/Transportation Engineering. • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 8 to 10+ years of Transportation Design experience
• Proficient in MicroStation and Inroads and/or AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) in Oregon or ability to gain reciprocity
• Work on a variety of projects with clients in the public sector
• Lead the development of transportation infrastructure projects including design for city streets, bike and pedestrian facilities, and trails
• Provide design leadership and guidance to staff, mentor, train, and contribute to the development of staff
• Coordinate and communicate directly with stakeholders, public agencies, and franchise and public utility companies
• Participate in business development including pursuing projects and writing proposals
• Committed to technical excellence and meeting client needs
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication

Preferred

• Experience managing small to medium size contracts and task orders
• Experience and relationships with transportation agencies in the Portland area, including PBOT, ODOT, and TriMet
