Specialty Produce Sales

Fresh & Wild is a leading purveyor of specialty food ingredients to professional chefs, gourmet retailers and home cooks. We’re looking for a passionate sales professional to serve our existing customers and help us reach new clients.

LOCATION

We’re in the Minnehaha area of Vancouver, WA, about 20 minutes from the Portland airport – against traffic if you live in Portland!

HOURS

This is a full-time position. We’re open 8 to 5 Monday – Thursday, with half days on Friday.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify new restaurant customers, manage chef contact database and prepare outbound sales communications.

Help process orders and manage fulfillment for specialty produce (including fresh truffles, wild mushrooms and exotic fruits and vegetables), gourmet pantry items, caviar and microgreens. There are a lot of transactions in our business and accuracy is critical.

Work with customers via phone or email, answering questions, taking orders, sharing new products and pricing, etc.

SKILLS

Must be able to communicate effectively and have a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

Must have strong customer service skills.

High-end food knowledge preferred.

Strong computer skills necessary.

Experience with CRM, inventory / invoice management software preferred.

This is a fast-paced environment with high call volume. Must be agile and able to multi-task in a collaborative open office environment.
