Role Description
Establish restaurant business plans based on sales and labor data.
Manage and set regular employee schedules focused on meeting tight labor vs. sales goals and maintaining the best possible customer experience.
Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing and meeting realistic, data driven goals.
Attracts patrons by developing and implementing inhouse promotions, events etc. in coordination with marketing and events coordinator.
Monitor purchasing and inventory levels in conjunction with kitchen manager.
Maintains operations by preparing and refining policies and standard operating procedures, aiming for consistent productivity and quality.
Maintains patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food and beverage quality.
Set and meet human resource goals for optimum employee hiring and retention.
Work with front and back of house staff to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation and cleanliness standards and procedures.
Maintain or delegate maintenance of customer facing aesthetics.
Develop and maintain maintenance logs for all applicable equipment.
Stay up to date on current restaurant and brew-pub trends.
Adapt to new trends and needs in the industry as they arise and as required for the success of the business
Set a positive example to other staff members by maintaining exemplary timeliness, professionalism, and customer/employee interfacing.
Qualifications
Experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role
Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and meet sales goals
Experience with budgeting, inventory management and financial reporting
Working knowledge of restaurant point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and restaurant management software
Comfort working with financial reports
Certification in Food Handler, or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred.
Wages, Hours, and Compensation
$50K-54K DOE

Full time hours, including call in when necessary. Some evenings, some weekend.
