WHAT WE NEED:

The Project Coordinator role is a full-time, non-exempt position in our Portland, OR office. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with an hour unpaid lunch. This role will provide onsite hours to a client in Beaverton three days each week for a long term project expected to last 1-2 years. Other time during the week will be spent working at additional client sites in the Portland Metro area or in the office. Overtime may be necessary, and the position will require attendance at the occasional evening meeting. This position is assigned on-call duty to be dispatched for after-hours emergency requests approximately every five weeks based on a rotation list. Insurance wants candidates to be 25 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a driving record screening to meet their requirements.

Construction knowledge and/or experience is preferred as related to the Beaverton client site for the first 1-2 years of this role; ability to oversee onsite siding crew’s work and ensure the project is progressing

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of people and showing initiative when responding to calls

Problem-solving under pressure in emergencies and attention to detail in high-stress situations

Confidence to exercise sound independent judgement within general policy guidelines and apply creative problem-solving techniques to resolve unexpected issues

Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders in writing and verbally, while asking questions to gain more information to resolve a problem

Intermediate organizational and office skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; typing capabilities for regular professional correspondence and updating of spreadsheets

Excellent public speaking skills to address HOA Boards and communities on a regular basis

Ability to field a high number of phone calls and emails, write reports, draft correspondence, perform site inspections, and solicit bids form vendors

Minimum of one year experience in facilities management/maintenance, knowledge of building systems, or three years of recent work experience in a job-related field

Candidates must supply 3 professional references supporting their abilities in these areas
