Responsibilities
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Vocalize any backups/pars needed for service
- Be able to follow recipes and prep items efficiently
- Prepare menu items as directed and execute tickets in unison with other stations.
- Ensure kitchen and equipment meet health department codes
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of all stations on the line
- Be efficient enough to work more than one station at a time.
- Flip the line for closing and follow closing/health procedures.
- Ensure all food arrives to the window meeting the quality standards of the business.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Essential Duties of the Job
- 3+ years proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, restaurant Cook, Prep Cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Menu development with knowledge of a wide range of recipes and dietary needs
- Familiar with industry s best practices
- Be able to work in a standing position up to 9 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation

This position is designed to start as part time and will reach full time seasonally
Starting pay $21 per hour and has a portion of tips from FOH which to equate to $2-$4 more per hour depending on the season.
