Laboratory Analyst

Edge Analytical Laboratories, an Environmental testing, is now accepting application for the Laboratory Analyst position at our Portland laboratory located in Wilsonville.

Applicants must possess a BS in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Microbiology and Chemistry or a related field.

Job duties include: receiving, laboratory testing of standard methods in chemistry and microbiology of potable and non-potable water, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, media preparation.

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

- Ability to work in a fast pace environment

- Strong attention to detail

- AA experience a plus for analyzing metal in drinking water

- Organized with multitasking skills, and time management skills

- Proficiency in data entry and computer applications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivation

- dependable, hard working, ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Good customer service

- have a positive attitude, be able to work well with others

- be able to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

- Preferably 2 years of laboratory experience

- AA experience would be a plus for analyzing metals

- A good sense of humor

Salary Minimum $2816.77 to Maximum $3293.46 per month
