Food Warehouse: Prep, Packing, Driving – No Weekends!

Tired of working on the line in a restaurant? We sort, trim and pack specialty food ingredients for chefs and home cooks. It’s back of the house work without the drama – with half days on Fridays, and weekends free!

Hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday – Thursday and 9:00 to 12:00 on Friday.

2 weeks Paid Time Off (sick & vacation), plus paid major holidays.

Located in Vancouver, about 15 minutes from the PDX airport, with easy access to I-5 and I-205.

We’re seeking a new member of our operations team to:

Pick up produce from our suppliers, and deliver to Portland restaurant customers. During hot weather, drive packages to the PDX airport in our refrigerated cargo van.

Repack food products into new containers, and pack orders for our customers.

Inspect, weigh and receive dry goods and produce.

Sort, trim and chop produce.

This is not a forklift operator position. It’s detail-oriented work where accuracy matters.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to drive a large Sprinter-type cargo van, navigating with mirrors and a back-up camera.

Must have a clean driving record.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and qualify for a TSA security badge.

Must be good with numbers and software. Quickbooks, Zoho or other inventory management system experience a plus.

This is primarily a warehouse environment, and you must be comfortable with extreme temperatures.
