Our client is a growing packaging and logistics company based in Portland, Oregon, and Temple, Texas. Established in 2018, our client is known as a single source partner for their customer's Packaging, Warehousing, Logistics, and Fulfillment needs. They specialize in producing custom corrugated and foam products that are available to customers that range from small businesses, pop-ups, and e-commerce, to larger corporations.

Currently, we’re hiring for a permanent, direct-hire position as a High-Speed Die-Cut Machine Operator to join the growing team. This position offers a stable schedule, and the ability to grow professionally, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a motivated team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Performing machine setups for a high-speed flatbed Die Cutter

Performing minor preventive maintenance of machinery, monitoring machines, and troubleshooting malfunctions

Performing quality control, dimensional inspections, and visual inspections with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and a measuring tape

Operating the machine interface and control panel to start/stop jobs, and set up custom speeds and run times

Following work instructions, documenting work orders, logging specific measurements and machine parameters for clients, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Requirements:

1 - 5 + years of experience operating corrugated box machinery, and running jobs from start to finish with the machines listed below:

High-Speed Flatbed Die Cutter

Gluer and Folder (not required, but is a bonus)

Experience working with corrugated materials and foam

Greasing Machine Zerks, swapping out machine pre-sets and tooling's

The ability to read machine instructions and follow work orders

The ability to work with a small team and be pro-active

The ability to pass a background check

The ability to lift to 50+ lbs.

Shift:

Day shift - Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 2:00 pm - Great work and life balance, and lots of opportunities for overtime too on Saturday's.
