This is an onsite role in Wadsworth, Ohio five days per week.Company is an established and leading distributor of auto parts for high end vehicles. They seek a strong Lead QA Engineer to be hands on and play a key role in owning and driving the delivery of quality software products. This individual will be responsible for establishing QA processes and procedures, creating and executing test plans from detailed product specifications, and for functional and regression testing on all internal and external applications. The role involves both automated and manual testing. They will also drive all QA automation initiatives. As a QA Lead, you will develop test plans, ensure adherence to the company's standards, maintain QA documentation, and communicate with development teams and stakeholders to suggest improvements. Candidates will work closely with our Product Owner and our Scrum Master to ensure quality product delivery in an eCommerce environment as well as lead a team of QA Engineers.Responsibilities:

    • Take ownership of quality in all production environments and act as the primary point of contact for all quality aspects of releases
    • Seek to continuously improve QA processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction and Preventions)
    • Review technical requirements, identify gaps, and provide feedback
    • Write clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases from specification documents and create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports
    • Diligently stay up to date with current QA best practices
    • Document systems and processes, track and document ongoing changes and defects
    • Establish benchmarks for application efficiency and response times
    • Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing strategies
    • Roadmap development of automated testing practices
    • Lead effort to bring test driven development to Software Engineering
    • Provide on-call system support and assist key personnel
    • Drive quality acceptance as you participate in weekly production deployments
    • Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance
    • Lead a team of QA Engineers
Qualifications:
    • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
    • Hands-on Quality Assurance experience in which you played a key role in building and enhancing a QA function
    • Quality assurance and test engineering experience in web-based/eCommerce environments
    • Strong understanding of test-driven development processes
    • Strong understanding of requirements and how they translate in application features
    • Strong development and execution of automated software testing
    • Significant experience with testing tools like: Selenium, Cypress, RTH, ITP, Katalon, HP UFT, etc.
    • Adept with writing SQL queries
    • Strong familiarity with software design and programming principles
    • Ability to set up and maintain a browser lab for testing
    • Experience with Bash and Shell Scripting
    • Experience with Gherkin Syntax
    • Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems
    • Good understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection policies
    • Solid understanding of Agile Scrum processes
